Defender blow for Dons

Jim Paterson's loan spell with Aberdeen may have come to an end after he returned to Plymouth because of his Achilles injury.
The 30-year-old was forced out of the 2-2 draw with Dundee United with the problem and it was hoped that he would return after treatment. However, nothing seems to have worked so far and he has now returned to Plymouth for further diagnosis. McGhee said: "Paterson is going back to Plymouth. "It looks as though he could take several weeks to recover and I do not even know if he will be able to play for us again this season. "He will go back there and they will be able to take care of him and, hopefully, get to the bottom of his injury."
