Dons defenders look on bright side

Charlie Mulgrew says he still believes Aberdeen can make it through to the Europa League, despite being 5-1 down to Sigma Olomouc.

The Dons suffered a shock first-leg defeat to the Czech side as they ran riot at Pittodrie, leaving the SPL side on the verge of being knocked out of Europe at the qualifying stage.
Aberdeen boss Mark McGhee conceded this week that the situation was 'hopeless', but former Celtic defender Mulgrew still believes the Dons can make it through.
"Last week was the worst I've ever felt in football. I couldn't sleep after the game - it has been playing on my mind ever since," Mulgrew told the Daily Record.
"But the best way to forget about it is to put in a good performance in the return leg.
"We still have a chance of going through and while that slight hope remains the boys will give it their all. We must believe we can still win it so we'll do everything in our power to win.
"If we score twice before half-time you never know what might happen. We need to keep believing.
"We need five goals so every set-piece will be vital and we must make the most of every opportunity."
