Dons offer encouragement
Aberdeen, 15:08, August 17, 2009 ,
Mark McGhee admits individual errors led to Aberdeen's defeat to Celtic but insists he took 'encouragement' from the performance.
The Dons fell to a 3-1 home defeat to Tony Mowbray's men on the opening day, but McGhee was philosophical when reflecting on the display and feels there is a lot to be built on.
The Aberdeen manager told the BBC: "We found it difficult to cope with Celtic's movement in the first half with the movement of their strikers. But within that there were individual errors which we can sort out."
He added: "We had a new back four and I could see things I'll have to fix. But there were elements that I can take encouragement from."
