Dons set sights on Jim
Aberdeen, 13:43, May 28, 2009 ,
Former Ipswich Town manager Jim Magilton is being linked with the vacant hotseat at Pittodrie.
The Dons parted company with Jimmy Calderwood earlier this month and reports suggest Magilton's name was discussed at a board meeting yesterday.
However, Aberdeen may have a fight on their hands for Magilton as he is wanted by English side QPR to be their next manager.
Motherwell's Mark McGhee, Eric Black, St Johnstone manager Derek McInnes, and Falkirk boss John Hughes are all among the named contenders for the job at Aberdeen.
