Dons star ends Pittodrie spell

Aberdeen, 14:20, August 31, 2009 ,

Bertrand Bossu has left Aberdeen and decided to return to his native France, after struggling to establish himself at Pittodrie.

The goalkeeper signed for the Dons last summer but has struggled to dislodge first-choice Jamie Langfield and has now chosen to end his short stay in Scotland.
The Frenchman, who had previous spells in England with Walsall, Darlington and Gillingham, had slid further down the pecking order following
the capture of Stuart Nelson from Norwich City.
A statement on Aberdeen's official website said: "The club would like to wish Bert all the best for the future and thank him for his commitment and professionalism during his spell at Pittodrie."
