Ifil set for Dons debut

New signing Jerel Ifil will make his competitive debut when Aberdeen entertain Celtic in the season opener on Saturday.
The former Swindon Town captain signed a two-year contract with the Dons after impressing Mark McGhee as a trialist in Dean Windass' testimonial win against Hull City and is expected to start against the Hoops at Pittodrie.
Zander Diamond, Michael Paton and Bertrand Bossu have all recovered from injury, with Tommy Wright (calf) the only absentee.
