AC Milan's Brazillian playmaker Kaka is hopeful David Beckham will extend his loan stay with the Rossoneri.
The 33-year-old former England captain has only just begun his two month loan stay at AC Milan after agreeing a loan move from MLS side LA Galaxy, but Kaka is already hoping to persuade the former Manchester United and Real Madrid midfielder to extend his spell at the San Siro.
AC Milan are way off the pace in the race for the
Serie A title, they currently sit nine points behind leaders Inter Milan, but Kaka is confident the arrival of Beckham will improve their chances.
He told the Daily Star: "Beckham is a very nice guy. He has brought his talent and professionalism and can help us.
"We hope he can stay for longer than this loan. I will ask him. He's a great player who can still play in very good competitions like the
English, Italian or
Spanish championships.
"He is still a big player and can play at the top level for a long time to come."
Kaka also rebuffed suggestions he was set to quit the San Siro with the Rossoneri still in the
UEFA Cup.
That news may tempt punters to use their
£10 free bet on AC Milan lifting the trophy in its final year in the current format.
The Brazilian added: "I am very happy here, I still have the hunger and desire and I believe I can achieve my targets with AC Milan."
