Piero Mingoia wants to make up for his goalscoring full debut for Accrington turning sour last weekend.
On-loan Watford midfielder Mingoia marked his first Stanley start by helping to peg back Rochdale's early 2-0 lead at the Crown Ground. But Jason Kennedy struck seven minutes from time to hand returning former boss John Coleman a 3-2 triumph on his old stomping ground. "On a personal level it was great to get a first start and even better to get a goal as well," Mingoia told Press Association Sport ahead of the Reds' trip to Torquay on Saturday. "But I was very disappointed with the result, obviously we should have at least drawn it - I feel we could have actually won it. "So we've just got to go onto the next game now. Personally, I can play better and the team can get a result."
