Holdsworth: I don't think we deserved to lose

Aldershot boss Dean Holdsworth felt the result was harsh on his side as Cheltenham left with a 1-0 victory from their League Two encounter.
Shaun Harrad, who joined Cheltenham from Bury earlier this month, grabbed the only goal after 73 minutes in a game that was delayed for 15 minutes during the first half by torrential rain and lightning. "For 99% of that game I was very happy and the performance was excellent, I am just disappointed for them, I don't think we deserved to lose," said Holdsworth. "It's a fine line and one set-piece has cost us. I can't remember them having any of the game. We have worked hard and the response from Tuesday's defeat has been excellent. That sort of attitude will get them a long way. "We have to be better in front of goal, but they responded well to what I asked of them and I am happy with that. "We were playing really well after the stoppage, but one slip and they've scored. But if we carry on playing like that we'll be fine this year. If we'd have won I'd have said we deserved it. You don't want to lose, but I can't criticise the players."
