Payne a gain for Shots

Josh Payne is in contention to return for Aldershot's trip to face Burton in npower League Two.

The midfielder has missed the last three games with a hamstring injury but was back in training on Thursday and will be in the frame for a recall. Manager Dean Holdsworth will be hard pushed to make any changes after Tuesday's impressive 2-1 victory over leaders Swindon, but the likes of Payne, Jordan Roberts, Mark Molesley, Reece Connolly and Doug Bergqvist will all be pushing for starting berths. Striker Wilko Risser has shrugged off the knock which forced him off in the late stages against the Robins, with defender Troy Brown passing a fitness test to start the clash. Ross Worner (back), Alex Rodman (pulmonary embolism) and Michael Rankine (leg) are out for the remainder of the season.
