Borussia Dortmund striker Robert Lewandowski is being linked with a move to Arsenal if they sell Robin van Persie.
Arsene Wenger could be lining up a swoop for the Borussia Dortmund if, as expected, he eventually is forced to sell the Dutch ace this summer.
The Poland international bagged 22 goals in the Bundesliga last season and is one of the most sought after strikers in Europe with Chelsea, Tottenham and Manchester United all thought to be keen as well.
The player's agent has confirmed there is interest from the Premier League but says the reported £13million offer from one of them, thought to be Chelsea, would not be enough to strike a deal.
Maik Barthel revealed: "Unofficially there are offers from English top clubs. We respect the contract situation in Dortmund and don't want to take part in speculation. A £13 million transfer fee is not suitable."
