Arsene boosted by Theo return

Arsenal, 10:05, September 30, 2009 ,

Theo Walcott is in contention for a first-team return against Blackburn this weekend after recovering from a back problem.

The 20-year-old is yet to make an appearance for Arsenal this season but could return to the fold this weekend when the Gunners host Blackburn on Sunday.
The England international missed out on the Champions League victory over Olympiakos on Tuesday night but played for an hour in a specially arranged match against an Olympiakos Under-20 side on Monday and has been training for the last week.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger confirmed Walcott would be available for selection on Sunday as well as England's World Cup qualifiers against the Ukraine and Belarus in October.
He said: "We played against Olympiakos Under-20s and he (Walcott) played for 60 minutes and came through well,
"He will be available for England selection and for us on Sunday."
