Australian ace eyes Emirates move

Arsenal, 16:17, July 30, 2010 ,

Fulham keeper Mark Schwarzer is still eager to move to Arsenal despite the arrival of new boss Mark Hughes at Craven Cottage.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is keen to add another goalkeeper to his side and Schwarzer is thought to be his top target.
Mark Hughes was today installed as the new Fulham boss but the Australian still has his heart set on a move to the Emirates and the Gunners may make an improved bid for the 37-year-old after seeing a £2million bid knocked back earlier in the summer by the Cottagers.
A number of goalkeepers have been linked with a move to Arsenal since the transfer window opened including German international Manuel Neuer, Dutch World Cup star Maarten Stekelenburg and Cagliari keeper Federico Marchetti, who deputised for Gianluigi Buffon for Italy at the World Cup after the Juve keeper suffered an injury.
