Austrian linked with switch

Arsenal are being linked with a move for Austrian international defender Aleksandar Dragovic, but face competition from Valencia.

Dragovic continues to impress while playing for Swiss outfit FC Basel and Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is keeping tabs on the 21-year-old as he looks to strengthen his defence.
The 21-year-old is valued in the region of £5million and Basel are resigned to losing him if one of Europe's big guns come knocking when the transfer window re-opens in January.
Dragovic has 14 caps international caps with Austria and has made a name for himself as one of the top centre backs in the Swiss Super League with some fine performances for Basel.
Valencia are also in the hunt and there is sure to be further interest if he is made available for transfer.
