Benayoun keen to extend stay
Midfielder Yossi Benayoun has revealed he is determined to turn his loan move into a permanent deal at the end of the season.
Benayoun arrived at the Emirates Stadium on transfer deadline day on a season-long loan from Chelsea and has enjoyed his first three months with the Gunners. The 31-year-old Israeli's future beyond next summer remains up in the air but he admitted he would be delighted to extend his stay with Arsenal if given the chance. Benayoun said: "I can only concentrate on the loan and we will see at the end of the season. Arsenal have the option to take me for the rest of my contract with Chelsea, another two years, but it's too early to speak about this."
