Biglia in Gunners talks

Arsenal are reported to be locked in talks with Argentina international Lucas Biglia with a view to an £8million swoop.

Biglia is one of many players to be linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium as Arsene Wenger searches for a new midfielder but reports in the press now claim talks have begun. The South American impressed during the last campaign when he captained Anderlecht to the League title in Belgium and Wenger is keen to get him on board for next season. A number of clubs are tracking the 26-year-old defensive midfielder but it would appear that the Gunners have made the first move and are attempting to agree a fee with Anderlecht.
