Bolton have opened talks with Arsenal over a possible season-long loan deal for Gunners winger Ryo Miyaichi.

The Japanese starlet spent the second half of last season on loan at the Reebok Stadium, but could not prevent the Trotters being relegated to the Championship. The youngster showed in flashes what an exciting prospect he is and Coyle is hoping that Gunners counterpart Arsene Wenger will agree to another loan deal, even though Wanderers will not be involved in the Premier League. "We'd love to have him back - he's an exciting young player and that's what we want for next year," Coyle told the Bolton Evening News. "I've had a discussion with Arsenal already and it's only early days in the summer but we'll see how that pans out." The player is also said to be interested in a return to Bolton, if Wenger does not feel he is ready for the Gunners first-team squad just yet, and Coyle is keen to get him back. "Ryo certainly loved his time at the club.," he added. "To be fair to the kid, he was trying to play through injuries in the last four or five games and I had to say to him 'in order to be at your best, you have to be at your maximum fitness.' He had such a big heart that he wanted to play his part. We had to take him out of the firing line. "If we could get him back with us again, then that would be great."
