Cesc vows to stay put

Arsenal, 10:32, June 26, 2009 ,

Cesc Fabregas says he is 'wholeheartedly committed to Arsenal' and has blasted reports suggesting he wants to move on.

Fabregas hit out at the Gunners earlier in the week after admitting his frustration over a lack of silverware at the club in the last four years, and he seemed to hint at a move away.
The midfielder appeared to leave the door open for a move Real Madrid but now says he has been misquoted in the Spanish press and is fully committed to the Gunners.
"I'm not sure how many times I need to talk directly about my commitment to Arsenal as I continue to say the same thing over and over again, but it appears that every time I have spoken to the Spanish media recently, my words have bounced back to England, leaving question marks about my future," Fabregas revealed.
"So, for anyone who is unclear or may have misunderstood what my position is, let me make myself absolutely crystal clear. I am wholeheartedly committed to Arsenal and my future lies with this great club."
