Defender in demand
Everton boss David Moyes is to resurrect his interest in Arsenal's Switzerland centre-half Philippe Senderos.
The Everton boss was said to be close to signing the 24-year-old last summer but the deal fell through because of the fee apparently but he is now set to move again.
Having sold Lucas Neill to Galatasaray last week Moyes finds himself short of cover and a short term move for Senderos, who is out of contract at Arsenal in the summer, could suit all parties.
Meanwhile, Arsene Wenger is still said to be monitoring young defender Chris Smalling at Fulham with a view to a deal at some point in the future.
