Defender set for shock Wolves outing
Arsenal could have Johan Djourou back after a groin injury for Tuesday's Premier League game at home to Wolves.
The defender is responded well to treatment and is ahead of schedule to make a first-team return which will come as a major boost for manager Arsene Wenger who he is without a number of key players at the back. Wenger is still short of natural cover in the full-back positions with Kieran Gibbs facing another month on the sidelines after undergoing surgery on a groin problem. Andre Santos and Bacary Sagna remains in the club's medical department due to an ankle injuries, while Carl Jenkinson is missing with a back complaint. Francis Coquelin, Ignasi Miquel or Sebastien Squillaci could therefore make a rare start in defence against Mick McCarthy's men. Alex Song is also available after suspension but Jack Wilshere (ankle), Lukasz Fabianski (knee), Vito Mannone (shoulder), Abou Diaby (hamstring) and Ryo Miyaichi (ankle) all remain out.
