Fab ready to sit it out

Second-choice goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski says he is ready to take his chance at Arsenal when it arrives this season.

Arsene Wenger had hoped to sign a new keeper over the summer as back-up for number one Manuel Almunia, with Fulham's Mark Schwarzer and Man City's Shay Given apparent targets.
He failed to add to his ranks, though, and now Fabianski says he is ready to step in between the sticks as and when he is required.
The Polish stopper said: "My [target] is to challenge for a place in the first team.
"That is my aim and I am going to do everything to take my chances and be the number one keeper.
"I will hopefully get a chance to do that in the Carling Cup game against Tottenham which is the earliest game for me to play in, where I want to show my best, show the boss that I'm able to play as the first goalkeeper."
He added on the club's website: "Every game excites me, I always treat every game in the same way so there's really no big difference although I understand it is a massive game for the supporters."

Fab is a panick stricken fellow who is never settled between the sticks. I would give Vito Mannone the 2nd place. He was better than the two last year when they were all injured.
