Fitness worry for Gunners stopper
Arsenal,
Last updated:
Arsenal could be without goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny for Sunday's trip to Stoke as he is nursing a minor rib complaint.
Lukasz Fabianski stands by to replace his Polish international counterpart if he doesn't make it after recovering from a back problem.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is also able to call on England winger Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain again following treatment on an ankle injury.
However, the Frenchman is still without defender Laurent Koscielny and midfielder Tomas Rosicky due to calf and hamstring worries.
Jack Wilshere and Barcary Sagna remain a while away from a first-team return despite making good progress with their long-term injuries.
Wilshere hasn't kicked a ball for the Gunners for more than a year but slowly but surely he is on his way following knee and ankle surgery and has been pencilled in for an October return.
