Olivier Giroud has for the first time admitted he is signing for Arsenal as reports claim he turned down a move to Chelsea.

The 25-year-old will this week sign for the Gunners from Montpellier after the two clubs agreed a £12million fee but he could have ended up at Stamford Bridge had Chelsea got their way.
The Blues are in the hunt for a new striker to replace Didier Drogba and it has now emerged Russian owner Roman Abramovich wanted to take him to Chelsea.
However it seems as though Giroud was sweet talked by Gunners boss Arsene Wenger and will play his football at the Emirates Stadium next season.
"It is something that represents so much for me," Giroud said of the move. "I've always dreamed of playing in the Premier League and Arsenal are a great club with many French players."
