Gunners and Rangers join Saints' pre-season event

Arsenal and Rangers will take part in Southampton's Markus Liebherr Memorial Cup this summer.

The second edition of the pre-season event will take place on July 14 and forms part of Saints' tribute to late owner Markus Liebherr.
The teams will face one another in three round-robin matches lasting 45 minutes each at St Mary's, with games ending in a draw decided on penalties.
In addition, the Olympic Torch will be brought to the stadium during the competition and will be taken on a lap of the pitch.
