Gunners boosted by duo return

Arsenal will welcome back Laurent Koscielny for the trip to Liverpool while Wojciech Szczesny faces a late fitness test.

The duo both missed the goalless draw at Stoke last Sunday through injury but could both return for the tough trip to Anfield where the Gunners will be looking to register their first win of the season. Number two keeper Vito Mannone did nothing wrong at the Britannia Stadium but is sure to be replaced if Szczesny is passed fit, while Per Mertesacker will be hoping he did enough to keep Koscielny out of the side. Arsene Wenger has no fresh injury worries going into the game but he may be tempted to make changes in attack with Theo Walcott and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain both pushing for starts. Much could also depend on if Wenger can strengthen his squad further before the closure of transfer window.
