Gunners braced for Brazilian bid

Wolfsburg are believed to be weighing up a bid for out of favour Arsenal midfielder Denilson in the January transfer window.
The Bundesliga side - managed by former England boss Steve McClaren - are preparing to make an offer for the 22-year-old worth around £13m according to the Daily Mirror.
They claim McClaren's been keeping tabs on the Brazilian for months and are now ready to firm up their interest in the new year.
Denilson came to the Gunners in 2006, but has struggled to cement a regular place in Arsene Wenger's first team and may now be allowed to leave following the emergence of Jack Wilshere.
If he does move on, Wenger will be able to use the cash from the transfer to improve his squad in other areas, with French youngster Mamadou Sakho and Stuttgart defender Serdar Tasci both thought to be high on his shopping list.
