Arsenal are weighing up a move for Steven N'Zonzi after Blackburn boss Steve Kean revealed the player can leave.
The midfielder wants out of Ewood Park following Blackburn's relegation from the Premier League and he was left out of the quad that traveled to Austria for pre-season. The Gunners are known to be keen on the 23-year-old midfielder, while Chelsea and Sunderland could also offer him a route back to the Premier League ahead of the new season. Rovers value the player in the region of £10million but may be forced to accept half of that as Kean is unwilling to have an unhappy player in his squad. "Steven has asked for a transfer. We want players who want to be here so he was left at home," Kean revealed. "He's made it clear he wants to play his football elsewhere so we'll be listening to offers. "At the moment, we are not planning to have him in the squad. He's not taken part in any first-team sessions."
