Gunners linked with international move

Belgium international Daniel van Buyten has admitted he is a great admirer of Arsenal but maintains he is happy at Bayern Munich.

The 30-year-old defender has failed to hold down a regular starting berth under Jurgen Klinsmann and he has admitted that is a cause for concern amid rumours that the Gunners will step in when the window opens in January.

"I am still good at Bayern and I want to stay there," Van Buyten told HLN.

"I understand I am going to play less regularly this season, but I am focused on doing my best, without looking for a new club.

"I must say Arsenal are a top club. We will see what happens during the winter but I am good at Bayern and there is still enough time to take a decision."
