Gunners youngster linked

Wigan have lined up Arsenal's young Japanese star Ryo Miyaichi and the Gunners are ready to loan him out for a season.

Latics boss Roberto Martinez is in talks to sign Miyaichi on a season-long loan deal as he prepares for the expected departure of Victor Moses, who looks increasingly likely to join Chelsea but only if they come up with the right amount of money. Martinez is said to view Miyaichi as a potential replacement for Moses but the deal is not dependent on the Nigerian moving to Stamford Bridge and is likely to go through irrespective. The 19-year-old spent the second half of last season with Bolton Wanderers and Arsene Wenger is thought to be keen for him to go out and get further experience on loan.
