Huntelaar linked with Gunners
Arsenal are being linked with a move for Dutch striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, who could be on the move from Schalke.
The striker was in fine form last season when firing home 29 goals for the German outfit and according to reports the Gunners are keeping tabs on him after Schalke admitted he could go at the right price.
An offer of £17million would activate a release clause in the player's contract and Arsenal along with Tottenham and Manchester United have been linked with a swoop.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has already signed Lukas Podolski this summer and with Olivier Giroud also on the way any move for Huntelaar would depend on whether Robin van Persie stays.
If Van Persie moves on then Huntelaar could be seen as the perfect replacement, but for now a deal looks highly unlikely.
