Arsenal have dismissed reports suggesting Juventus have made a bid for Robin van Persie and say he is not for sale.

Reports in the Italian press claim Arsenal rejected an £8million bid from Juve but Gunners chairman Peter Hill-Wood says the club have yet to receive an offer for the Dutchman. Juve, Manchester City, Barcelona and Real Madrid have all been linked but Hill-Wood insists they have no intention of cashing in on Van Persie even though he only has 12 months remaining on his contract. "As far as I am aware, nobody has made any offer for him and he is away so we are not in any dialogue at all," Hill-Wood revealed. "We are not in the remotest bit interested in selling him." Meanwhile reports claim Van Persie is due to hold further talks with Arsene Wenger on the telephone this week while taking a break following Euro 2012.
