Arsenal are set to move again for Fulham keeper Mark Schwarzer if Osasuna follow up their interest in Manuel Almunia with a firm offer.
The 33-year-old Spaniard has been left in little doubt that he will not be the Gunners number one next season and there have now been reports that he is wanted by his former club but there is also a link to Atletico Madrid who could make a move.
A move away for Almunia is likely to trigger a further offer from Arsenal for Australian veteran Schwarzer, who is wanted by Arsene Wenger.
The Gunners boss has already had a £2m move for the player turned down this summer but is likely to up that offer if Almunia is allowed to leave the club.
