Koscielny fine after knock

Arsenal have confirmed that a knee injury suffered by France defender Laurent Koscielny while on international duty is not serious.

Koscielny collided with Franck Ribery during a training session in Clairefontaine ahead of Friday's friendly against Japan and the World Cup qualifier with Spain next Tuesday. But the Gunners defender underwent what the club described as a "very reassuring" medical examination on Wednesday evening and he was expected to train on Thursday.
