Arsene Wenger has dismissed reports suggesting a £17million offer has been made for Rennes midfielder Yann M'Vila.

Wenger has been strongly linked with a move for the attacking midfielder and reports earlier in the week had claimed the player was on the verge of joining the Gunners after turning down Inter Milan.
However these reports appear to be wide of the mark and it has been suggested the story was concocted by the player's agent to force the Italian side into making a move.
Whether Wenger will make a move in the future remains to be seen but for now he has played down the rumours and would prefer to focus on finishing the season.
"It is not true. There is not any interest at the moment," Wenger revealed. "We have not been in touch with anybody, we have not made any offer to anybody and we are nowhere near to buying anybody at the moment.
"We are focused on our final game of the season."
Wenger does want a new central midfielder though and it would come as no surprise if he did move for M'Vila at some point.
