Midfielder's Milan move reply

Arsenal, 16:12, December 4, 2008

Cesc Fabregas has re-affirmed his desire to stay at Arsenal after reports suggested he fancied a move to AC Milan one day.

The 21-year-old Arsenal captain was linked with a transfer to the San Siro this morning after he was quoted as saying if he ever moved to Italy he would want to join the Rossoneri.

But the Spanish ace has played down transfer talk and repeated his commitment to the Gunners in an interview with the club's official website.

"It is true that I said I admire Milan for their rich history and the way they play football but that is as far as the story goes," said Fabregas.

"I am honoured to be wearing the captain's armband for Arsenal and I am 100 per cent committed to this Club. My future is here."
