Arsenal are ready to beat Italian giants Inter Milan to the services of £17million-rated French star Yann M'Vila.

The Gunners have been chasing the player for some time and are now close to landing the Rennes midfielder, who will snub interest from Inter in favour of a move to the Emirates Stadium.
The 21-year-old has revealed that a move to the Premier League is his preferred option and Arsenal now just need to hammer out personal terms with the player after agreeing to pay Rennes the fee they are after.
There were fears the deal could collapse after the player was held by police over an alleged assault at his home, however the move is still on and Arsene Wenger is closing in on his second deal after already landing Lukas Podolski.
Arsenal hope to clinch a place in the Champions League at West Brom on Sunday but it would not be a deal breaker if they missed out with M'Vila happy to sign a £60,000 a week deal no matter what.
