M'Vila swoop in doubt
Arsenal could be ready to pull the plug on a move for French midfielder Yann M'Vila following a string of disciplinary problems.
After wrapping up the signing of French striker Olivier Giroud, Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is now keen to bring in a new midfielder and Rennes star M'Vila is a player he has been tracking for some time.
The 21-year-old is set to leave Rennes this summer and reports claimed Wenger was willing to pay a fee in the region of £16million to bring him to the Emirates Stadium.
However a number of off field issues have forced Wenger to have a rethink. The midfielder has been arrested three times in the last two years for various offences and was also involved in a spat with France coach Laurent Blanc during Euro 2012.
Wenger is concerned about such disciplinary problems and it seems as though he is not willing to take a risk on the player and will look elsewhere for midfield reinforcements.
