New boy in goals pledge
Arsenal new boy Lukas Podolski says he can replace Robin van Persie and be the Gunners' match winner out on the pitch.
Arsene Wenger has called on his players to spread the goals around as they attempt to replace Van Persie and was delighted to see both Podolski and fellow new signing Santi Cazorla grab a goal apiece in the 2-0 win at Liverpool. Podolski is also delighted to be off the mark and after opening his account at Anfield, he immediately set his sights on more goals and points for his new club. "When I'm on the pitch, I can win matches," he told the club's website. "I'm very happy to score my first goal at Liverpool with their amazing fans and stadium. "I'm also very happy that we won and got the three points. You must always work hard in matches. You must fight, you must run and you must score goals."
