Emmanuel Adebayor's move from Arsenal to Manchester City is edging closer after the striker was granted a work permit.
The Togo international has already passed a medical and agreed personal terms, thought to be worth £170,000 a week, and now the two clubs just have to agree a fee before the deal is completed.
The Gunners are holding out for £25million for the striker and it is thought City are ready to match that figure to secure their latest big-money arrival.
