PSG in for Van Persie
Paris Saint Germain have entered the race to sign Robin van Persie but Manchester City are favourites should Arsenal cash in.
Van Persie has been offered a three-year deal by Arsenal worth £130,000 a week but the Dutchman is stalling on putting pen-to-paper as reports grow he is heading to City. PSG have also entered the running and have the cash to match what ever City could offer, but the player would prefer to stay in the Premier League and is holding out for a move to the Etihad Stadium. City boss Roberto Mancini is keen to do a deal as soon as possible but has been told he has to reduce his wage bill first of all and needs to offload at least one from Emmanuel Adebayor, Carlos Tevez, Roque Santa Cruz and Edin Dzeko. In the meantime Arsene Wenger hopes to convince the player his future is at the Emirates Stadium but until Van Persie signs on the dotted line speculation over a move away will continue to rumble on.
