Race on for M'Vila
Arsenal face a battle to land Yann M'Vila as Inter Milan are also keen, while the Italians are also interested in Alex Song.
Arsene Wenger is looking to strengthen all areas of his squad in the summer, particularly midfield, and Rennes midfielder M'Vila is known to be high on his list of targets. Rennes have accepted that the 21-year-old will be on the move in the summer but they are holding out for £20million and Wenger may have to do some negotiating to bring it down. Inter are likely to be frightened off by that figure and could instead turn to Gunners star Song, whose place would be under threat if M'Vila did sign in the summer. However Wenger wants to keep hold and reports claim Song will be offered a bumper new deal and a big improvement on his £55,000 a week, to stay at the Emirates Stadium.
