Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey has joined Nottingham Forest on loan until January 3 in a bid to gain match fitness.

The Welsh midfielder has been sidelined since suffering a horrific leg-break in February but has now returned to action and completed 45 minutes of a reserve fixture on Tuesday night.
The 19-year-old has now joined Championship side Forest to gain match fitness for a month and he is expected to compete for a place in the Arsenal starting XI when he returns from his stint at the City Ground.
A statement on the club's official website read: "Everyone at Arsenal football club wishes Aaron the best of luck during his time with Nottingham Forest and we all look forward to seeing him once again in an Arsenal shirt in the new year."
