Rivals queue up for Toon stars

Newcastle have yet to receive any offers for Cheick Tiote but there has been some interest in both Yohan Cabaye and Fabricio Coloccini.
Magpies boss Alan Pardew is praying that the transfer deadline comes and goes without any of his star players leaving but it looks as though he may have to fight off one or two bids from rival clubs.
Arsenal have been heavily linked with both Tiote and Cabaye, but it would appear that the latter is the player Arsene Wenger wants to take to the Emirates Stadium.
Tiote's agents have confirmed the player is happy at St James' Park and also say no offers have been made for the player. However Newcastle have been made aware of interest in Cabaye and it is thought to have come from the Gunners.
It would take a fee in the region of £20million to tempt Newcastle to sell but Arsenal do have money following the sales of Robin van Persie and Alex Song and may be willing to go that high.
Colocinni is another player in demand with Manchester City known to be in the hunt for another central defender and Pardew is drawing up contingency plans should a key player move on.
