RVP father rules out PL switch
Robin Van Persie's father has insisted his son will not be leaving Arsenal for another Premier League team this summer.
The Dutch international has been linked with a move away from the Emirates this summer, with the world-class finisher refusing to discuss his future till after the European Championships in Poland and the Ukraine. Van Persie is being connected with a number of top clubs from across Europe but his father Bob has hinted he will not switch to another Premier League side and is unlikely to go to one of the two Spanish giants from Arsenal, who can be backed using your free bet. He explained to El Mundo Deportivo: "He'd never go to Manchester City, as it's impossible he would play for another Premier League side that wasn't Arsenal. "It would make no sense to go to Barcelona when they've already got Leo Messi. "Real Madrid would be a good option, but they are not so much a team as a collection of star names, so he wouldn't really fit in there either."
