Star linked with Serie A

Inter Milan are being linked with a move for Arsenal defender Bacary Sagna and could launch a bid when the January window opens.

Sagna still has two years remaining on his current deal at the Emirates Stadium but there are big doubts over his future after he voiced his concerns at the departures of Alex Song and Robin van Persie. The 29-year-old is battling back from a broken leg and Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is keen to get him and fellow full-back Kieran Gibbs tied down to new deals. The Italian giants are looking to replace Brazilian star Maicon, who joined Manchester City last month, and according to reports in Italy they have made Sagna their number one target.
