Striker out of Blues clash

Arsenal, 09:13, February 5, 2010

Arsenal hope to have Abou Diaby back against Chelsea on Sunday but Eduardo has been ruled out of the crucial clash.

Diaby has been struggling with a calf problem and, although boss Arsene Wenger has confirmed the midfielder is not yet fully fit, there is a chance he could return at Stamford Bridge.
It is not good news though for Eduardo as the Croatian striker has a hamstring injury and is definitely ruled out of the clash.
"Diaby is not yet back in normal training," Wenger said of the situation. "He progresses very well but we will still have to wait until Saturday. He is a maybe.
"Eduardo is already ruled out. Theo Walcott is back and available so Diaby is the only question mark we have. All the others are longer term injuries."
