Striker price too high
Arsenal are being linked with a move for Malaga striker Jose Salomon Rondon as Arsene Wenger looks to bolster his attack.
Wenger is said to be keen on Rondon who is also a target for Premier League rivals Chelsea and Newcastle. The 22-year-old impressed with 11 goals in La Liga last season as Malaga broke into the top four and all three clubs may struggle to lure him away as the Spanish side are in no rush to sell. Malaga are one of Spain's richest clubs so they do not need the cash, while they can also offer the player Champions League football, something Pardew couldn't. Arsenal may also be put off by the asking priced with Malaga wanting a reported £20million if they are to even consider letting the player move on this summer.
