Reported Arsenal target Odil Ahmedov, currently with Russian side Anzhi Makhachkala, admits he would welcome a move to the Emirates.
The combative midfielder is keen to test himself in either the Premier League or Spain after impressing for Anzhi. The Uzbekistan captain has been linked with the Gunners in the past, and the links have now resurfaced as Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is expected to strengthen his midfield in the summer. Ahmedov insists he is happy with Anzhi, but admits he would welcome a move to Arsenal if the Gunners make an official move. "Of course I am very happy at Anzhi," Ahmedov told reporters. "This club has a great future. But I would like to try in England or Spain. All clubs in Spain and England are wonderful but I would like to play for Arsenal."
