Theo focused on Gunners
Theo Walcott says he is ignoring rumours linking him with Chelsea and says he is fully committed to Arsenal for now.
Walcott has been heavily linked with a move Stamford Bridge while Liverpool are also said to be watching developments as he goes into the final year of his contract. Just like Robin van Persie, the winger could opt to move on if the chance arises but for now he says talks will continue between the club and his agent over a possible new deal. "It was always going to be (a case of) hold back until the end of the Euros,' he told skysports. "We continue to talk and we'll just see where it goes." Until the winger does pen a new deal speculation is sure to rumble on but he insists the rumours linking him with Chelsea and Liverpool will not distract him. "Not at all because I didn't have a clue about any other clubs, or anything," he added when quizzed about the links. "I'm an honest guy. I like to get on with my job. I've got to work on pre-season, I don't want any distractions. "Like I say, my agent and the club will continue to talk and when there's something to know I'll get involved."
