Van Persie on Juve radar

Juventus are reported to have opened talks with Arsenal star Robin van Persie's agent with a view to a £25million swoop.

The Gunners are ready to break the bank in an attempt to get the striker tied down to a new contract but in the meantime a host of Europe's top clubs are watching developments.
Real Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester City, the Milan clubs and Paris Saint-Germain are all keen on the Dutchman but it would appear that Juve have stolen a march by speaking to his agent.
Juventus are ready to make a £25million bid for the player but it remains to be seen whether he would fancy a move to Serie A if he decided to move on in search of a fresh challenge.
Spain would be his preferred choice but there is still a good chance he will stay with Arsenal and talks over a new deal will be stepped up at the end of the season.
